Restaurant Budgeting, Reporting & GP

The bread and butter of what makes a business viable.  As with everything you'll find on these pages, I understand the importance of tailoring business financials and planning, to suit you.  I have worked across businesses with huge finance support that track every penny, to those that just want to know whether they're broadly in the green and can help you find the best system for you, and which software might be worth investing in, and is suited to your needs. 

GP

The percentages you will hear talked about most in restaurants are GP and labour. They hopefully sit at different ends of the scale(!) but both are extremely important. I can help you cost recipes & begin inventory management using excel templates of my own or suggest and help input a full inventory management protocol using exisiting software to get you up and running. I can also look at exisiting GP to make efficiency suggestions of where and what to improve or check for any gaps you've missed.

Budgeting

As an AAT qualified bookkeeper I am able to help produce budgets and forecasts for your restaurant that are realistic and sustainable. This could be a one off with team training or a quarterly / monthly contract with analysis to help keep you on track for your business needs.  Within budgeting and forecasting I can do an efficiency analysis to look at where and how you can improve your business outlook in the short and long term.

Report Building

If you're a smaller business and perhaps not yet ready or needing to invest in more integrated software solutions, I can provide tailored spreadsheets for nightly reports and monthly figures to keep track of what's working best (and what isn't) in your business. These can be a great way to capture the most important information for you, without getting bogged down in excessive figures that don't spur action.
